The UCLH NHS trust commissioned five writers to create new, original works, based on words from NHS staff stories from across the trust. The five writers -Maddy Accalia, Esme Allman, Sarah McCreadie, Courtney Conrad and Thembe Mvula – are all alumni of the Camden Roundhouse Poetry Collective.

University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust concluded the first day of performances for Our National Health stories, with performances of the five newly commissioned poems by the five writers. They were accompanied by London-based kanun player Konstantinos (Kostas) Glynos, who will perform music spanning Greek to Turkish and Arabic traditions.
