Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust
Three large-scale murals including the faces of real staff members were commissioned at all three sites and installed by Amy and Lizzie from HandMade Theatre.
Staff also worked with sculptor Elaine Lim Newton to create a mosaic tile piece.
The Trust worked with poet, Matt Miller and illustrator Tomekah George to hold workshops with staff to discover stories which were then turned into poems and illustrations in the ‘Story Trolley’ project during the NHS 75 birthday week.
The poems, illustrations and artworks are being exhibited until mid-January 2024 at City Hospital.

For their performance on 22nd November 2023, the Trust worked with Next Door Dance, setting a selection of poems to dance and music (with composer, Jimmy Power). Laura and Emily, the Next Door Dance Youth Company and staff from the Trust performed a selection of these on the 22nd, and staff from the Trust performed their number in the Manchester finale on the 23rd.
