Meet the Creative Team

Our National Health Stories is led by Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah and will build on and celebrate the incredible work of the National Arts in Hospitals Network.

Working alongside Kwame is a stellar creative team including writer Chris Bush and composer Ruth Chan, with dramaturg Teunkie Van Der Sluijs and associate director Jennifer Tang. Together they will curate and respond to work created by thousands of NHS staff from 19 hospital trusts across England culminating in a live finale event in November 2023.
