What springs to mind when you think about arts in hospitals?

The arts have quietly played an important role in hospitals for centuries from as far back as Renaissance Italy all the way to the modern day.  With recent studies showing that art indisputably serves as a powerful and beneficial influence on the health and well-being of hospital patients, visitors and staff.

The National Arts in Hospitals Network (NAHM) works to raise the profile of arts in hospitals, share best practices and instigate innovative projects that celebrate the arts across the NHS.
